Welcome to Valuable You

Everywhere we turn we are told that we need bigger, better, faster, more. Popular culture would have us believe that the value of a person is directly related to how many houses, cars, giant TVs and i-Whatever devices he or she owns. We work hard and deserve jet skis and fancy holidays. We spend billions of dollars every year on clothes and makeup because we’re worth it.

Funny how at the end of the day it’s all just a bunch of stuff.

Valuable You isn’t here to tell you that it’s wrong to want nice things. I LOVE nice things. There is no way in hell I’m going to trade-down my car just to take a stand against consumerism. Frugal might be trendy but there is nothing noble about desiring poverty.

Let Valuable You help you realise that your stuff, regardless of the quality or quantity, is not your greatest asset. YOU are your greatest asset. You always have been and always will be. It’s not your TaylorMade golf clubs or Gucci handbag that allows you to accomplish your goals (although some of you may disagree with me about the golf clubs!), it’s your belief in yourself that will get you everywhere you want to go.

Trust me.
